Although I have never been anxious about amassing awards for my WP work, some have still fallen my way, bequeathed by appreciative fellow editors. They were gratefully and graciously received, and appear below.
I am prouder of the number of new articles I have created. I am keeping a running list of new creations on my so-called Talk page, here at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Georgejdorner/User_page:_The_brag_wall, so there's no room for comments about my vanity.

Michel Coiffard
editHi George, I have left some comments on the talk page of the Michel Coiffard article. I feel that it is currently still a Start but could be made up to a B class article with just a bit more work. I have done some formatting work on it also, so that its style is a bit more in keeping with the Mil Hist project preferred style. You are doing some very good work by the way, and I just wanted to encourage you to keep at it. I don't want you to think that just because your articles get rated as a Start, that they are not appreciated.
I believe that you are a solid contributor and feel you deserve recognition of the fact. As a result, I am awarding you the Epic Barnstar.
