John Dennis Held, II born May 24, 1971 is St. Louis, MO. He is the great grandson of St. Louis floral magnate Johann Held. Attended Holy Cross Lutheran before transferring to Humbolt Visual and Performing Middle School. Upon graduating attended Central VPA school in St. Louis. He later transferred to Lutheran High School South in Affton, Mo. Graduated from Missouri Valley College in 3 years and later earned his MBA at Missouri University of Science & Technology.
A father of seven children and grandfather to four.
He has an extensive history as a model in his youth. Appearing in hundreds of local and national print adds. He also toured a season as the lead for Kool-aids National Play-it-Safe kids dance ensemble. Runway experience for Julian Alexander, New York on the Sallie Jesse Raphael Show. He appeared on the Cracker Jack Cereal box for their initial product promotion.
He joined the Boy Scouts of America and attained the rank of Eagle Scout. He later served as their Nation Good Turn spokesman for Scouting for Food appearing in the Today Show with Ben Love, Chief National Scout Executive and Bryant Gumball, reporter.
