• March 17 – The original pig is drawn on Mr. Dipo’s whiteboard.
• March 23 to 24 – During a trip to Salt Lake City for spring break, the Loveland Aquarium is visited.

May

• May 21 – Vincent gets his braces.

June

• Early to mid-June – Bottes of water with different “models” of caps are sold.
• June 1 – Myles “moves” away for the first time.
• June 4 – Seventh grade ends.

July

• July 21 – A Spotify account is created.
• July 24 – The iPad is accidentally reset, erasing all photos and data since August 2013.
• July 24 – The first Strawberry Challenge begins.

August

• August 8 – The gold iPad mini is purchased, party as a response to the reset of the other iPad.
• August 11 – A Simplenote account is created.
• August 31 – Eighth grade begins.

September

• September 25 to 26 – The first surprise trip to Salt Lake City to browse for car is made after initial speculations on August 22, 2015. Volkswagen was seriously considered until...
• September 27 – A blood moon is visible, and the August 21, 2017, eclipse is heard of for the first time.

October

• October 3 – The second surprise trip to Salt Lake City results in the purchase of a 2015 Lexus RX 350, widely described as shocking, over-budget, and impulsive.
• October 4 – "Rainstorm Banana" floods the basement, although less worse than "Avocado".
• October 18 – The garage walls are painted.

November

• November 5 – NHD research officially begins with a class trip to the public library.
• November 12 – The second hard drive of the Toshiba laptop fails in the Second Great Crash.
• November 15 – The first Hotlist is published. Rolling in the Deep becomes the first #1 song.

December

• December 25 – Gifts from Christmas 2015 include headphones, a new Toshiba laptop, and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.
• December 30 – Kevin buys the first emoji pillow during the first trip to Broulim's.
