Darryl Merveil Ombang (born 11 July 2005) is an English professional footballer who plays for Ossett United, on loan from Leeds United, as a goalkeeper.
Early and personal life
editOmbang grew up in south Leeds, the eldest of four children, as a Manchester City supporter.[3]
Club career
editOmbang began his career with Bradford City, signing a two-year scholarship in 2019.[4] He moved to Leeds United in July 2021.[5][6] He turned professional in August 2022, signing two-year contract.[7][8][9]
In October 2023 he moved on loan to Ossett United,[10][11][12] making 12 appearances in all competitions.[13]
He signed a new contract with Leeds in May 2024, until 2026.[14][15] In August 2024 he signed on loan for Farsley Celtic,[16] having previously been on trial with the club.[17]
International career
editHe has represented England at under-16 youth level,[5] receiving his first call-up in October 2020.[4] He has also played at under-17 level.[1]
