Crystal Palace were give a one-point deduction for using an ineligible player during a match against Sheffield United on 3 May 2009. Crystal Palace were given a ten point deduction for entering administration. Leeds United had 10 points deducted for entering financial administration. Portsmouth were deducted 10 points for entering administration.
