Script to Screen is a writing competition hosted by BBC Learning in which school children aged 9-11 submit a short, three-minute script to be filmed as a mini-episode of the BBC's science fiction programme Doctor Who. The competition is designed to encourage creative writing. The first winner, "Death is the Only Answer", featured the Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith) and the enemy of the Ood, and was written by four children from Oakley CE Junior School. It was broadcast as part of the last episode of the behind-the-scenes BBC Three documentary series Doctor Who Confidential on 1 October 2011. The second winner, "Good as Gold", featured the Eleventh Doctor with his companion Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) and had the enemy of the Weeping Angel, and was written by three children from Ashdane School. It was broadcast as part of CBBC's Blue Peter and took place during the 2012 Olympics.
