Goldmarkist is the CEO of Goldmarkist's Rhythm (G's R) which is an exciting label for Christian music. G's R vision is to create, manage & promote music that its messages will stimulate godly discussions now and in the next 300 years.
Born in Lagos, Nigeria in the early 80's, He moved to Benin City, Edo State Nigeria while he was still a baby in 1984. This is where he found his musical voice singing for different gospel groups, bands and choirs. Goldmarkist developed a distinctive voice influenced by the sounds of gospel, jazz, soul and R'n'B. While growing up in a musically inclined environment, Goldmarkist self-tutored himself on how to play the drums, sing certain patterns and write music.
Moses Seriki a.k.a Goldmarkist is a born-again Christian, creative music writer, he sings his own songs and believes that godly music is a primary tool that can inspire both change and merry in this world. When asked the meaning of "Goldmarkist". Moses gives the meaning as "a golden vessel that leaves a golden mark on people" by way of his worship to God. He believes that as Christians, our interactions should always leave a golden impression on anyone we meet according to 2 Tim 2:20. He adds that to remember who we are, always remember the triple two with a zero. (Referring to 2 Tim 2: 20) Moses is happily married to his beautiful queen "Tomi" that he refers to as ``his garden".
