My knowledge base consists of stock market trading, science-based-medicine, humanism, nutrition, international cuisine, gardening, North American, South American, and European Literature and Art, and pottery. In order for me to determine the worthiness of Wikipedia, I read articles about the topics of which I am familiar, and decided that the topics were covered well. I started to make minor edits when reading Wikipedia articles for my own research as an non-logged-in user, and then decided to open a user account--so a very gradual embracing of wikipediadom.
