Sharis Marie Rhodes; Born March 7, 1986 in Los Angeles, Ca is a American singer and Community Activist. She is known to be the youngest black woman to file for candidacy for the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisor district 2 seat in the 2020 primary election. During her run and controversial debates, Sharis attracted attention from young voters as well as local news (i.e. LA Times) quoting “I’m going up against some big, heavy names. But at the same time, their political histories have not done our community justice.” while advocating against homelessness and for foster youth through her lived experience with her son.
