Early life

edit

Lalia enjoyed drawing from an early age, but the biggest boost to his future career came at the age of 16 when he worked as an assistant to two of Argentina's top professional illustrators: Eugenio Zoppi between 1957 and 1960 and Alberto Breccia between 1957 and 1963. He also studied for a few months in the Pan American Art School and then two years in the IDA (Institute for Directors of Art), where Breccia, among other professionals, was a teacher.
