Gateway Chess League is an organization of Saint Louis, MO area K-12 schools whose students compete in scholastic chess. The league sponsors competitions that determine the Senior High League and the Junior High League champions. The league also sponsors the Crossroads Elementary Tournament, the Gateway Chess League Fall Tournament, the Gateway Chess League Board Tournament, the Gateway Chess League Class Tournament, the Gateway Chess League Team Tournament, the Gateway Chess League Action Tournament, and the Bollinger Memorial Tournament. The League also sponsors, in cooperation with Columbia College and the Missouri Chess Association, the Missouri Scholastic Championships Tournament.
The Gateway Chess League started in 1964 and has had the following league presidents.
