This is my user page. Hello, I am fairly new and not too familiar with the finer details of Markup and policy. I have a piece of paper that says that I'm a geologist but I haven't done much with it, I prefer naturalism and history these days and spend most of my free time learning new things, re-examining old things, playing with my bearded dragon, building terraria, nurturing my houseplants, and appreciating the beautiful temperate forests, wetlands, and waters of the American northeast.
I will occasionally stick my head into articles it doesn't belong in order to add/rescue links and sources, clarify language or formatting, or add information that I think relevant to readers like myself who are outsiders to the field but if I have overstepped, please correct it, no hard feelings.
I may have trouble picking up inuendo, recognizing when I have overstepped or over spoken, getting lost in tangents, and emotionally investing in internet arguments when I shouldn't. I mean no harm, I value truth above all else, I am editing in good-faith and hope we can communicate in kind.
