Kiranraj M. S. (born 1975)[1] is an Indian botanist with a particular interest in Agrostology
He obtained his Ph.D. from the Department of Botany at the University of Calicut in 2009 with a dissertation titled "Taxonomic revision of the subtribe Dimeriinae (Poaceae-Panicoideae-Andropogoneae) in peninsular India"[2]. He has held professional positions at Sree Narayana College Cherthala & Kollam, and is also served as the Curtaor, Sree Narayana College Herbarium (SNCH)[3]
He is the author or co-author of the botanical names of some 15 taxa, including Nanooravia, Dimeria agasthyamalayana, Dimeria veldkampii, Dimeria raviana, Dimeria hohenackerii var. kodaguensis, Ischaemum fischeri, Chrysopogon purushothamanii, Memecylon sivadasanii[4]
