I am grateful to God for everything. First and foremost, I am grateful to know the Son of God has transformed my life into something new. And, by His grace, He has given me eternal life. I look forward to the day when I next see Him. "For me to live is Christ, and die is gain." (Philippians 1:21) Above all, I hope I hear Him say to me, "Well doneā€¦" Next, I am grateful for all the good things God has given me, my marriage, my family, and the rest of His many good gifts. And, I need to say, I am learning to be grateful for the less than good, or not so good, and the downright tragic things. You see, I trust that God is Sovereign and good so I can trust His promises. He promises, "All things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28) I would not have this hope if I did not know Jesus these many years. He has proved Himself constantly.
