Griff is the English Bulldog mascot that serves as the official live mascot of Drake University. Griff was introduced to the Drake community on October 8, 2015.
History
editPorterhouse Legacy
editPorterhouse, winner of the 2009 Drake Relays' Beautiful Bulldog Contest, became a beloved member of the Drake community so much that he became Drake's first official live mascot. From 2009 to January, 2015, when he passed away, Porterhouse acted as a representative of the Drake Bulldogs.[1]
