About Me

My name is Valentin and I am currently a college student in the state of Washington. Some of my interests include cars, music, gym, and cooking. Now cars may seem really basic for someone to like, and it is completely true. It is really basic, but who doesn't like to speed on the freeway or drift on gravel or asphalt. In reality, I just like anything that is motorized, wether it is a car, truck, boat, jet ski, quad bikes, etc. The point is to get the adrenaline going with the help of some beautiful machines. Music I feel like its pretty self explanatory, It feels like I have never gone a day without listening to music.

Article Evaluation

The wikipedia article for General Motors Do Brazil is very informative on one of the first car manufacturing companies in Brazil. The article is pretty short for a company as big and as important as this. I was looking through some wikipedia article trying to find one that could be good for this assignment, and i found General Motors Do Brazil. Three things i found that thought were interesting enough to comment on are the structure/completeness of the article, if the article was up to date, and if the article had any biased claims or grammatical errors.

One thing that surprised me was that the article was actually up to date. Last time it was edited was on july 22, 2022. It was just some minor editing but it shows that the article isnt abandoned and is kept in good condition. There is only information regarding the factory until 2021, there is no information on 2022. The references they used are actually pretty current, there are some from 2020 and 2021, and there is one from 2022. It is safe to say that this article is up to date and accurate.

This article is so short and concise that there is nothing that i found to be over-represented. It is possible that some facts or events were under-represented, but since i don’t know much about General Motors Do Brazil i can’t say if that is true. Another thing that caught my attention was that there is a huge gap between 2005 to 2019 that there is no information on. If there was a small gap it would be fine, but there is a 14 year gap. Something definitely happened during those 14 years, there is just no way that everything stayed the same.

This article has a neutral voice and has no biased comments. This article is just informative, it is not trying to change someones viewpoint or anything. There is also no grammatical errors that i found while reading the article.

Overall this article is well kept and not much wrong with it. After evaluating it, i say its a good wikipedia article with only one noticeable down side. That downside being that huge 14 year gap in which we get zero information on. Other than that this article was up to date and had a neutral voice.
