Island Cruising Club
editThe Island Cruising Club (ICC) is a sailing school based on-board the converted Mersey Ferry "Egremont", moored in "The Bag" area of Salcombe & Kingsbridge Estuary, on the South Devon Coast.

Egremont was built in 1952 by Philip & Son Ltd of Dartmouth
When she was de-commissioned in 1975, destined for the scrap heap she was purchased by the ICC in June 1976 and towed to her new home in Salcombe.
Since the start of the 1977 season she has served as base for the clubs dinghy sailing courses and is now also the clubs operational headquarters[1]
