My primary interests are linguistics/languages and informatics/programming, but I might contribute to articles on just about anything.
Other facts about me that may or may not be useful when reviewing my edits:
- I prefer writing to people in Norwegian and to computers in C.
- My obsession with North Germanic languages is probably unhealthy.
- I love my home country Norway for its nature, culture, food, traditions and dialects.
- I love Italy for its climate, architecture, villages, food, language and music (the 1980s Italo Disco originating in Northern Italy, as well as its derivative forms: Eurobeat, Italo house and Italo dance).
- I find astronomy and cosmology very interesting (and natural sciences in general).
- I like to keep myself updates on politics, but I am also interested in history.
- I dislike the traditional idea of the left–right political spectrum and try to avoid using those terms.
- I like rational discussions, but not conflicts.
- I am an atheist and while I acknowledge that the majority of the world’s population is religious, I refuse to let people’s religion impose restrictions on what I say or do (including which pronouns I use and what I do on Sundays).
- I expect people to use/understand sensible inventions such as the UTF-8 encoding and the International System of Units.
- I use Mac OS X 10.9, iOS 6 and Windows 7 because I cannot stand the recent UX/UI design trends.
