Horwich and Blackrod is an electoral ward in the Metropolitan Borough of Bolton in Greater Manchester, England. The ward had previously been known as Horwich South and Blackrod (1973–1980) and shortened to Blackrod (1980–2004). Horwich and Blackrod ward elects three Councillors to Bolton Metropolitan Borough Council using the first past the post electoral method, electing one Councillor every year without election on the fourth.
Together with Heaton and Lostock, Horwich North East, Smithills, Westhoughton North and Chew Moor, and Westhoughton South, and the Metropolitan Borough of Wigan ward of Atherton wards it makes up the Bolton West Parliamentary Constituency.
