History

edit

Habatchii was originally a native indian name, from various tribes and indian cultures. Known as a warrior or 'soldier', the name quickly became a status symbol for 'leadership of many'; giving food and other gifts during hunting trips. The name was synonymous with other titles such as 'priest', 'medicine man' and even 'chief'. Many indian tribes still hold to the name, despite the curses and benevolent reverances that have come to be associated with the name.

Mythology and Habatchii

edit

As with most indian cultures, those that knew the name 'Habatchii' had their own distinct religious background. Being a great leader within the tribe, Habatchii would always be exemplified as being a deity or secularcede to save the tribe from mystical forces and evil spirits. One such myth was that Habatchii would 'raise from the earth and shine as the sun upon the enemies of his followers.'

American Indians, Christianity & Habatchii

edit

Early native American Indians knew Habatchii. They were as Habatchii and competed in tribal games for rites of passage to be as Habatchii. They also would call upon their moral compass whenever they were in danger. When the Europeans began to settle in the New World, they brought their skills and trade with them; some of which were very different to indians that did not hunt or do other hard work for the tribe such as in battle. The Europeans only needed interpreters to exchange their cultural ideals and methods. The true Habatchii of the tribe would see the translation gap as an opportunity.

Both the Europeans and the native indian tribes read and wrote. When Christianity was first introduced, Habatchii's job became as a sheppard, guiding the readers or 'belivers' to the church. When Christianity became a force within the New World, Habatchii job was to protect the traditions and tribal passageways of the natives. Negative terms such as 'Paleface' and 'Redman' were used to describe how the clairvoyant personality of the 'Invisible One' really looked. The indians did not know if Habatchii was their friend or their enemy; for he now had attributes of both the European and the Native Indian.

Habatchii In Modern Times

edit

Under the heat of a changing social infrastruct, Habatchii has since become a staple for domestication. The concept of the 'Grille' is still observed today due to the Soldier's Creed in which Habatchii maintained throughout history; 'grilling his enemies, but only for the good'. Some American culturalist belive that the American Flag resembles Habatchii's markings as it flies as a guardian spirit over the earth and its peoples.
