Dance
editThe school's dance team, The Dazzlers, is run by Maureen Maguire and her daughter Shannon Maguire. After taking over the team in 1983,[1] Maguire has coached the team to several national titles including: 1997, 2004, 2007 and 2008 national high kick titles at the National Dance Team Championship held annually at Walt Disney World.[2] The Dazzlers have also been named National Champions at the Marching Auxiliary National Championship, held in Texas, in 1999, 2001, 2005, and 2008.[3] The Dazzlers also competes in state competitions, and as of 2008 the team had been named Overall State Champion in Kick and Jazz for 5 straight years.[4]
