Nayyar Sultana (1937 - 27 October 1992) Tayyabah Bano was her real name. Born in 1937, she belonged to a conservative middle class family of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh (now in India) having no link with the proverbial bazaar-e-husn. She was a famous Pakistani film actress and was reckoned to represent true face expressions of the roles she was inducted for. It was due to this calibre that a large number of film fans, both male and female, began calling her Malika-e-jazbaat. She was married to famous Pakistani film star Darpan.
Early life
editAt the time of partition, in 1947, she was in grade four when Pakistan emerged on the map of the world. Her family decided to migrate to Pakistan and settled in Karachi. With her family she happened to visit Lahore where Anwar Kamal Pasha gave her a role in film Qatil and screen named her Nazli. After completion of the movie she went back to Karachi.
