When I'd read wikipedia pages I'd occasionally see minor code errors and typos and so to be helpful I created an account with Wikipedia so as in future whenever I saw a mistake I could correct it.
Since found the site is full of lying shitstirring contributors and bullying name calling admins, also found some wikipages are biased, some contain disinformation, I've even seen contributors in talk pages openly conspiring to falsify wikipages, also admins are biased when it comes to content added to wikipages, some things won't make a wikipage regardless of being true and being able to be cited, let's just say the admins are selective with the truth.
From my experiences with the site I get the impression that many contributors are young persons seekin a job in the tech industry and they want to put in their CV that they're a contributor to Wikipedia and brag about how much they've contributed, and to use this to make them look good, it seems many such persons are less concerned that the best well written content or content easiest to understand by the viewer is added to wikipages, their concern is more that only content THEY suggest is added, basically they'll always choose their content over others regardless whether the other content is better written, they don't care about what's best for the site, they only care that it's THEIR content that makes the cut.
I don't bother contributing to this site anymore, why bother helping a website free of charge when your help isn't appreciated at all and you get treated like shit and threatened and name called by admins whom abuse their poweer.
I don't bother reading the site anymore either as I don't consider it a trustworthy site for information.
