Clock Tower, Nostalgic Guide to Super Famicom, pg 47

'top 10 arcade horror game'.

'Evade Scissorman's scissor and escape from the mansion!'

This is a third person adventure game about the struggle of the protagonist (who has been invited to the mansion where the unknown serial killer lives) to escape from the mansion without being noticed by the serial killer 'scissor man'. The game progresses as the protagonist gives indirect commands to other characters. The unique selling point of this game is that, through the perspective of the powerless and sensitive protagonist, it allows the player to experience the imminent horror of being caught.

This game is based on the famous Italian horror movie Phenomena.

Views on Wikipedia

User pages

edit

User pages should not be used as social media profiles and contain utterly irrelevant information, such as whether likes a certain piece of media. A user page should focus describing a users's history on Wikipedia, views on Wikipedia and their contributions. Not information irrelevant to Wikipedia.

Talk pages

edit

Talk pages on Wikipedia are a complete mess and need to be completely revamped. It uses the same format as main Wikipedia pages, but it should in fact use a different format. It is too confusing to use for new users.

Typically users use indentations to make it clearly delineate messages from each other. This has the obvious problem when there are several replies. After a few replies the discussion has moved too far to the right, and it has to be moved back.

Instead the talk page format should follow a format similar to an imageboard or a discussion forum. This would solve the above problems.

As it stands, you have to have a page on your watchlist or to manually check it to see if anyone responds to anything you post. It should be more like a modern website and simply notify you.

Notability

edit

I am a strong advocate against non-notable Wikipedia pages. More should be done to counter them. The following pages are ones that I will investigate to see whether they pass notability or not. If they do not I may start a deletion discussion on them:

edit

These are usually just "pop culture trivia" sections. Should be trimmed, and renamed. The examples should be notable, sourced, and have some connection to the topic at hand and not just some reference.

Your opinion, and mine, are unimportant. What is important is sourcing. —User:Dbrodbeck (talk) Source: Talk:AIDS denialism#Former_Aids_Denialists, 12:44, 31 October 2011 (UTC)

Put another way, our fairness is that which is owed to our readers, not to advocates of disproven viewpoints who seek to mislead them, and we fulfill that duty by not treating anecdotes as though they were data. |source =Nunh-huh 02:59, 6 May 2012 (UTC)]] Source: Talk:AIDS denialism#Fairness, 02:59, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
