Hi I am a searcher in a specific ethnological field of old rural culture, especially in the vosgian mountains in France. Ethnoscience with plurality of aspects is a help to characterize way of living and believings as well as fundamentals rules applied in the civilization of harnessing.
Folklore in that sens is much more a highly degree of know how, when and about. But we are obliged to rediscover singularities of living beings as much as we can before modelizing. Folklore is not a popular culture, it's old science or savoir in connexion with varieties of technics. In contrary popular cultures don't exist in our society.
As old christianity has always placed the divine knowledge high above but in strong continuity with the human best know-how and technic, good rituals and mentality, right organisation and justice, it is necessary to investigate the formation of public world and common power under their spiritual influences. But we have to keep mesure and avoid a complete change of mentality. For example the birth of christian empire doesnot alter fundements of human domination and attitude.
