Spittin Images Spittin Images are and American hip hop band from Portland, Oregon. Formed in 2012, the band consists of Cody "Winkz" Van Winkle (vocals, production), Jared "Jarry LoVae" Hopper (vocals), and Nick "McLean" (production, live instruments). The band teamed up with Steve Fisk to record their first self-titled EP in September 2012.
Spittin Images draws its musical influence from hip hop, rock, pop, funk, and R&B. Due to this variety of influence, the band has coined the genre "urban alternative" to describe its music.[1]
The band has recorded two music videos. "Northwest" was released in March 2013,[2] and "Portland Girls" was released in June 2013.[3]
