About Me I am a student creating this page in order to fulfill a requirement for my Sociology of Religion Class.
In this class, I am required to create a Wikipedia page.
The Five Pillars of Wikipedia The Five Pillars of Wikipedia are as follows: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, Wikipedia is written from a neutral point of view, Wikipedia is free content that anyone can edit, use, modify and distribute, editors should interact with each other in a civil, respectful manner, and finally, Wikipedia does not have firm rules.
Neutral Point of View A Neutral Point of view refers to presenting information in a "balanced and impartial manner." The goal is to present the information, while avoiding advocacy, and striving for accuracy. All information should be verifiable.
No Original Research Policy Wikipedia does not allow original research for which there is no previously published, verifiable data. All information must be able to be linked back to a reliable, previously published resource.
Verifiability Policy The reader must be able to check the information presented through cited sources, no matter how 'true' something may or may not appear to be.
