Hemant Pradeep - The donner of many hats
Hemant Pradeep — a director, producer, writer, presenter, radio host amongst other things has a career that spans decades. Director, producer, and writer of the Hindi feature-film MMIRSA (2016), he has also directed Mission Army (2011) and Mission Udaan (2005) for National Geographic. But the list does not stop there. With a career that starts in 1995, Hemant has created short films for Doordarshan, directed Star Best Seller for Star TV, Rishtey for Zee TV, Ek Minute Diyan Khedan for Zee TV Punjab, Without Makeup with Mahesh Bhatt, The Shot Gun Show hosted by Shatrughan Sinha for Zee TV, and Talking Cinema with Taran Adarsh, amongst many others. Along with working with major TV networks, Hemant has also collaborated with the industry's leading production companies. Working closely with Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms and Cinevista productions.
With years of experience under his belt, Hemant wears countless other hats. A YouTuber — he reviewed latest bollywood films for his channel Bare-bollywood Channel. A qualified psychologist, he also produced a show on mental health hosted on YouTube. Hemant has also taught direction as an adjunct faculty at State University of Performing and Visual Arts, Rohtak. And if all of that wasn’t enough, he has also designed and organized countless events like the Indian Television Academy Awards (ITA) and entertainment shows in Fiji.
The multi-faceted creative with his passion for film, promptness to learn, and desire to create impactful content, seeks to break the glass ceiling with everything he works on.
From creating action-packed, blockbuster dramas to producing gritty and authentic documentaries, Hemant Pradeep's company Maaltee Films Entertainment has been catering to all verticals of mainstream entertainment. Born out of a simple dream to create engaging and entertaining content, Maaltee Films Entertainment is driven by its purpose to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the industry’s giants. By producing the MMIRSA (2016), the Hindi action-drama based on the famous Mirza-Sahiban folklore, Maaltee Films Entertainment took its first steps in creating landmark feature-films. But the production company’s filmography doesn’t end there. From producing tele and advertising films to non-fictional films, the gamut of Maaltee Films is all but limited.
Only last year Maltee Films incepted Acme Awards 2021 — Haryana’s premier award ceremony that celebrates the people from various verticals who have excelled and/or broken ground in their respective fields.
