I'm a native East Tennessean, member of First Families of Tennessee and two-time honorably discharged Army Veteran. I served as an enlisted Military Policeman in Berlin (January 1984-December 1986). After I completed the US Army commissioning requirements in R.O.T.C. and the requirements for my Bachelor of Science in Multi-Discipline Social Science at The University of North Georgia, I served as an Field Artillery Officer in Germany.
I also served as a Senior Pastor in the United Methodist Church, and I'm currently a Peer Recovery Specialist, Celebrate Recovery Inside Facilitator and Wellness Recovery Action Plan (W.R.A.P.) Facilitator.
In November 2021 I self-published my debut novel, Our LITTLE Secret: A Smoky Mountains Family Saga and Coming of Age Story Inspired by True Crimes, and I'm currently working on a number of other writing projects. I edited the soon-to-be released coffee table book of photographs, A Young Tiger's Tales by Richard Way.
I am interested in Genealogy (I have a WikiTree account - Johnson-67028), hiking in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Peer Support and Wellness Recovery.
