editA 33 year old designer, who was born in Saint Micheal, Barbados.Born in Barbados, her father is Barbadian and her mother is Guyanese. Her real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty. Her brand is called Fenty. And as she grew famous she went by her middle name. Her line includes Lingerie. But she also has a lot of other major accomplishments before her line took off. At her school she won a talent show by singing a Mariah Carey song. She also started a girl group.
Career
editRihanna started her career when she got signed on by Jay-Z's recording studio. She became a pop artist and through her singing career, Rihanna won a total of 9 Grammy awards. She declined to do the Superbowl halftime in 2019 show to show support for Colin Kaepernick who knelt during the National Anthem as a peaceful protest. She didn't want to be a sell out because her people had nothing to gain from it she said in her interview with Vogue. She got cameos in films like Battlefield and Oceans 8. Rihanna started a make-up line called Fenty Beauty. Her make-up line was so successful for the range of skin pigments it had. It started with 40 skin colored pigments, that was for inclusiveness for people with darker skin tones. As a designer she collaborated with Puma for workout clothes and athleisure. Her collaboration helped her design her shoes, known as Puma Creepers She also came up with Savage Fenty which sells lingerie. While working on her brand Fenty and preparing for its launch, she made a partnership with LVMH. She made a collectibles item book called Queen Size that shows intimate photos of her the stars evolution as an artist.
