The Lakes Valley Conference (LVC) is a high school athletic conference in Michigan. It was formed in the 2016-17 academic school year, and established at the start of the 2017-18 academic school year as a result of apparent competitive equity issues within the KLAA.[1] Geography was also a major factor, as smaller teams within KLAA had to spend more money on transportation costs. In LVC, the distance between schools is now only 27 miles between schools, resulting in less travel expenses.
Because of the small size of LVC, each team will routinely play one out of conference team every year.
