In 2016, Hersheypark declared July 19 as "Paul McCartney Day" in Hersheypark.[1] This was because Paul McCartney was scheduled to play in Hersheypark Stadium on July 19 (which he did[2]). This is the earliest example of a ride being temporarily renamed outside of the Hersheypark In The Dark or Hersheypark Christmas Candylane shoulder seasons. Below is a list of the rides which have been renamed for special occasions.

The theme park will rename four of its rides after songs from McCartney's time as a part of The Beatles and as a solo artist. The "Great Bear" will be renamed "Blackbird;" the Storm Runner will be renamed "Band on the Runner;" the "Bizzy Bees" will be renamed "Let it Bizzy Be;" and "Laff Trakk" will be renamed "Maybe I'm Amazed."
