Bio
editMy name is Hoang Phan, but I prefer my English name would be Danny, and I am an international student from Vietnam. I have studied my sophomore and junior in a high school in Arizona so my English is better now comparing to 2 years ago. I love playing sports, and I was on swim, soccer and tennis team. Tennis gradually becomes my favorite sport because I can play with my host family here during my leisure time.
I have used Wikipedia for many years, so I read many articles about different topics including: history, science, biography, etc. I could see myself writing about some heroine or scientific movie, but I could also write about medical term or any medical relatives because I want to because I am pursing Nursing degree now. It is very amazing to see how far Wikipedia has accomplished and expanded over the year which now has so many articles in different languages.
Article critique
editI have always been fond of playing video games. Since my parents did not let me go outside more often when I was young because my neighborhood was bad, I started to enjoy my time with video games more and more. Recently, I just bought a PlayStation 4 (PS4) with some games too, but one games I bought was my favorite-The Crew 2. Therefore, I visited The Crew 2 page on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: citations, age, and structure.
Citations
editThere are many sources that previous editors have used to make the topic more accurate, but it seems like there are some bias along those sources. I clicked on a few links, and some of them were very opinionated. Of course, there are two ways of opinions-positive and negative feedback. These positive mostly described about how big the map is comparing to the first one or to other; also, some of the sources quote from news or other sources, but they do not cite nor tell us where they got that quote from. Nevertheless, the negative thoughts lean more toward the graphic design, difficulty in finishing the missions, and there are too many advertises after I clicked on the links.
Age
editSince I am playing the game as well, so I know what changes that the game has made to improve players' experiences. Recently The Crew 2 had a slightly update, which added couple more cars with a few more events, but the article on Wikipedia is not up-to-date with the game. It may not seem like a big changes to the game, but they need to add those changes to catch up with the latest update. It is very important not to leave the article outdated because Wikipedia is the first website most people will look for information.
Structure
editThe article covers almost all of the important, but I want to see more from the reception parts of the article. Reviews are very helpful to enhance the quality of the games; however, rather than getting from only one source, it should be collected more sources about the players opinions and feedback about the game.
Summary
editAll in all, I think this page has a decent amount of information. However, I do not think all the information is accurate because there are only few citations in some sections. All the sources that have been gathered was either a person opinions or quotes from other sources without citations, so it is very difficult to identify credible sources. I think that a well-informed article should always be up-to-date with correct information. Also, the summary part of the article does not have any citation, but the reception has three citations, but all from one website.
