James E. Hollis, known as Hollis (born February 5, 1966) is a Sales and Marketing Professional residing in the city of Horseheads in western New York state. Hollis is a 20-year employee of Corning Incorporated and is currently assigned to the Specialty Materials Division. In his current role, Hollis is responsible for the global sales and marketing of Corning's GorillaTM Glass an innovative specialty flat glass product used to protect the displays of many of today's portable electronics devices.

Hollis graduated in 1984 from Davie County High School in Mocksville, North Carolina. In 1989, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Distribution from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina. Hollis accepted a manufacturing leadership position at Corning Incorporated's Fall Brook Manufacturing Facility in November of 1989 and has held a number of manufacturing and commercial positions throughout his career. Hollis has a versatile skill set; however, his passion is business leadership and global customer interaction. Since 1991 Hollis has represented Corning in more than 20 countries around the globe.

Personal life

Hollis has one son, Kenyon Demetre' Hollis who was born on June 7, 1988. Kenyon attended Horseheads High School and he is currently a senior at Mansfield University in Mansfield, Pennsylvania.

Hollis' personal interests include traveling, photography, golf and he's a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated.
