Brinley & Holbrook
Brinley & Holbrook was a landscape architectural firm active from 1901 to 1941. Founded by John Rowlett Brinley and John Swift Holbrook, both graduates of the Columbia University School of Mines, the firm completed numerous landscape projects. Most notable is the firms work on the Bronx Botanical Gardens and the Jay Estate in Rye New York.
The firms papers can be found at the Morristown Library in Morristown, NJ, and the Mertz Library at the New York (Bronx) Botanical Gardens.
