D&D wiki is an online encyclopedia dedicated to the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game. The wiki hosts Wizards of the Coast open game content as well as player-created "homebrew" material. With over 25,000 articles, D&D wiki is the largest Dungeons & Dragons wiki in existence. The site is ranked by Alexa as one of the top 100,000 visited sites[1].
History and description
editD&D wiki was launched on February 4th 2006 by Peter Gabert (known on D&D wiki as "Green Dragon").[2] Since the launch, the wiki has expanded to cover multiple editions of the game, as well as publications from Wizards of the Coast. In addition to Dungeons & Dragons, the site hosts content related to D20 Modern and Pathfinder.
Use by Gaming Community
editD&D wiki has received much attention from the general gaming community since it's inception. Actor and avid-gamer Wil Wheaton has utilized the site for his gaming blog[3] and has been ranked as one of the top ten websites about Dungeons & Dragons[4].
