Who?

Yeh so im Ben Hooper, i'm just enjoying life at the moemnt and trying not to realise the sadness that surrounds me. Yeh so anyways i am an artist, animator and web designer. A comic book geek and a huge music fan. Really into most things, exept hip-hop for the last 7 years. so yeh music is my life, and life is music? I am in two bands, woopie and the goldbergs.

Animator?

Flash, all that is flash. Its turning into a profession recently but only the odd £100 here and there. I have a few links, and now i have a sponsership with galacti games, not a great site but hell it means i get a free .com (which by the way the sites will be up and running very soon).

Woopie and the who?

Goldbergs! Yes thats right its a silly name, i know! But a hell who cares. We have ben going for about 2 years now, but have only just started doing gigs. We have one on the 23rd in fact so thats all good. Yeh i'm the drummer for the band and i have been playing for about 5 years. W.A.T.G are a genre that is awfully hard to define as some songs we will produce a metal/grunge sound then the next will be a funky flesh fest. So we are a band with many, many influences.

Musical Tastes

Hmmm, this really could be a long list. My main interest stem from the grunge/metal/rock area. So most bands within that genre will do me fine. I enjoy metal but i am not to keen on death metal, i listen to Lamb Of God but i cant listen to Canibal Corpse. Hip Hop? i hear you yell, well as i said anything from the laste 6 years has been pretty bad, i prefer hip-hop from the late 80's and late 90's artists like: Slick Rick, Biz Markie and Big daddy Cain. Modern Hip-Hop really dosnt float my boat, exept for Saul Williams, one of my fravourite artists of all time, a true poet.
