Tytus(Masters of the Universe) Tytus is a fictional character in the Masters of the Universe franchise. Tytus was first shown in action figure form in toy company, Mattel's 1987 Toy Catalog. The catalog featured prototypes of the toys that were to be released that year. [1] Unfortunately for Masters of the Universe fans everywhere most of these prototypes would never see the light of day due to the cancellation of the line. Some however did receive limited release. Tytus was one of these releases. Only released overseas in Italy, Tytus was a giant MOTU action figure standing approx. 3 average figures high. He is a part of what was to be a sub-line for the series known as "The Powers of Grayskull". This line was to tell of He-Mans ancestor He-Ro(another unreleased character) & his battles against the Snake Men & adventures in Pre-Eternia(Eternia's past). Tytus's box calls him a "Heroic Giant Warlord" & on the back states Tytus the giant fights for peace and depicts him fighting the Snake Men alongside He-Ro. The figure had a normal human appearance and long blonde rooted hair. It featured removable gray & silver armor with a "G" on it. He was equipped with a gold weapon that snatches attackers up by their head. Which apparently allows a person to pick the other figures up by their head. Due to the cancellation of the line little material or information exist on the character. There was also an evil giant that was released only in Italy as well named Megator.
