In Poland, according to the national strategy for cultural development from 2004 to 2013, the added value of the creative industry was 17.3 billion Euros, 5.2% of GDP. With the enactment of the 2005 Act, the field of cinema has made great strides and the Polish Film Institute, a non-governmental organization, has been established. Film law supports up to 50 percent of official films and up to 90 percent of budgetary budgets for low-budget films and art films. This has led to an increase in the number of films produced in Poland and also to attract foreign film companies to co-produce or utilize Polish film services. -Reference: The United Nations Report on the Creation Economy: The United Nations (UN)
