TransitX nTransitX is a Massachusetts startup company that is proposing to build a futuristic transportation system: ultralight self-driving cars that would be suspended about 20 feet above the ground on thin tracks called guideways. TransitX has made proposals to many cities in the Northeastern US [1] [2], other US states and elsewhere in the world.
