‘‘‘King Dr. Saheed Osupa’’’
‘‘‘Alh. Saheed Akorede Okunola’’’, King Dr. is an esteemed Nigerian Fuji Musician and he is a native of Ibadan born in Ajegunle to the Family of late Alh. Moshood Okunola an etiyeri Musician. [1] He was popularly known as ‘‘‘Saheed Osupa’’’, and one of the notable king of Fuji Musician married and blessed with children. ‘‘‘Alh. Saheed Akorede Okunola’’’, obtained his National Diploma from the Polytechnic of Ibadan in 1992, But, later studied Computer networking in the USA. [2] [3]
Career
editSaheed Osupa was made the king of Fuji Music|Fuji Musician for his consistency in keeping the face of Fuji Music, his distinguished voice and way of delivering his Fuji Music in advising, educating and passing of useful information and messages to people and his fans all over the globe as to his early artists (Mr. Fuji Dr. Sikiru Ayinde Barrister) and his contemporary Alh. Kollington Ayinla in the Fuji Music industry which boost the upbringing of new Fuji Music|Fuji Musician.[4], [5]
Saheed Osupa started releasing albums with Alasco films and records while, he has released over 30 albums and he is the only musician that released four in one albums in Nigeria presently in 2015. ‘‘‘Alh. Saheed Akorede Okunola’’’, performed satisfactory at the Oke ‘Badan Festival held over the weekend in Ibadan, Oyo State Nigeria at 2015 with Globacom’s sponsorship, which brought excitement to the festival celebration. [6] He has been crowned as a ‘King of Music’ also ‘The Pope of Shred Metal’ because of his excellence and enormous impact in the Fuji Music industry. [7]. Some of his top album were Labalaba & Ore Niwon, London Delight Extra, London Experience - Single, Akonda Omo, Nini Owo - Single, Baba Oloye - Single, Best of the 90's, Beginning and the End, Ajaguna, Saraki of Ilorin, Mr. Panorama, My Star, Stadium Hotel, Idumota Lagos, Moyosore, Seriki Coma - Single, A Number - Single, Ariya Special, Ijonu Olorun - Single, Osita -Single, Dance for Me, I Cross and Oppressor.
