Rutherfordium(IV) oxide is the inorganic compound with the formula RfO2. It is the only known oxide of rutherfordium, a transactinide transition metal. It has little use outside of scientific interest, where it is often studied in comparison to hafnium dioxide and zirconium dioxide, its lighter tetravalent group 4 element analogs.
