Relationship between Destiny, Reason and Effort.

Destiny is what has been ordained by the creator before we were born into existence. E.g, life span, child bearing, wealth etc. All of these has been ordained by the creator.

Reason on it own is the path or way by which the destiny that has been written will manifest or come to pass. For example, it has been destined that you will get admission into the university, but without you passing the entrance exams, you can't. Passing these exams in this case will be the reason you are admitted.

Effort on it own is the way we strive to achieve a goal. For example, in other to get admitted (destiny), we need to pass jamb (reason) by working hard (effort).

Simply because we believe in destiny doesn't mean we shouldn't make efforts. Like the popular saying "what is mine won't leave me", my dear, hunger was created so that we can work to feed our mouth and be satisfied.

These are some facts to have in mind about these three. 1. Destiny is there already, so we don't have to grief about what we have lost in the past nor be afraid of what is yet to come in the future. We should live in the present and strive the best way we can and prepare for the future 2. We need understand that everything in this life happens for a reason. E.g Your boss may sack you because he doesn't value you anymore and on your way home crying, you met a CEO of a bigger company who's in need of your skills. 3. We constantly need to make efforts and not leave our situation to chance. It very rare to see someone successful by just chance. But constantly striving increases our chance of being successful. 4. If after striving or making several efforts to achieve something and it didn't turn out the way we expected, then we need to accept that something isn't in our destiny. By that, we can have inner peace and not blame ourselves or anyone 5. Wherever we are destined to be, we will get there through people. That is why we need to watch our behavior and how we treat people. What goes around comes around. There's a saying in business that "one bad customer is equivalent to losing a thousand sales" This is because if one person has bad experience about you, it can affect you in many and unexpected ways. So let us try to avoid breaking relationships.
