Faraz Ahsan was born in Hyderabad into a Muslim family is a Indian Film Producer. He is the founder of Small Box Films. His first film as a producer, On The Blue Canvas, won many international awards. Faraz started his career as the co-director in Mango Dreams . he has worked as a Assistant Director for filmsĀ and shows including Satyamev Jayate produced by Amir Khan (2013) and My Pot of Gold (2015). He then worked as an executive producer for a longtime associate and friend Namrata Goyal and have produced Films Like Manto.(2018),Chuskit (2018) also produced by Many Films under his banner.

His grandfather, Mohammed Ahsan, was a professor of Mathematics, and her grandmother was a professor of English Literature.

He is the nephew of Shabana Azmi, Tanvi Azmi and Baba Azmi and first cousin of Tabu.

His contribution to the world of cinema is exemplary and is known for their new-age contemporary approach. Through his vision, Small Box Films now is one of the first major Indian production companies into building content for OTT.

His father is known cinematographer in Bollywood, Faraz was schooled and went to college in Hyderabad at Stmarrys Hyderabad Faraz Ahsan had a keen interest in acting while in school and acted in professional plays and he was also a founder of a known website where he sold the company for a undisclosed amount.
