Faraz Ahsan was born in Hyderabad into a Muslim family is a Indian Film Producer. He is the founder of Small Box Films. His first film as a producer, On The Blue Canvas, won many international awards. Faraz started his career as the co-director in Mango Dreams . he has worked as a Assistant Director for films and shows including Satyamev Jayate produced by Amir Khan (2013) and My Pot of Gold (2015). He then worked as an executive producer for a longtime associate and friend Namrata Goyal and have produced Films Like Manto.(2018),Chuskit (2018) also produced by Many Films under his banner.
His grandfather, Mohammed Ahsan, was a professor of Mathematics, and her grandmother was a professor of English Literature.
He is the nephew of Shabana Azmi, Tanvi Azmi and Baba Azmi and first cousin of Tabu.
