Scouting Uniform
editAlthough it has been recently changed, the old scout uniform (shown to the right) is most commonly worn by scout troops. The uniform consists of a tan shirt, with a chest pocket on the left and right and pants. The pants are jeans with a faded green color (they're more asthetically pleasing than the description portrays) with a the scouting logo on the snap button.
Newer Uniform
editThere is little known about the new uniform because it has only begun to appear in scout shops, where you can buy all sorts of things for both Boy Scouting and Cub Scouting such as merit badges, rank badges and neckercheifs. Although the shirt will stay relatively the same, the pants of undergone a total makeover. Resembling Kaki pants, they have an expandable wasteband that clips together and have zippers by the knees that allow you to convert them from pants to shorts, saving you money on buying both. There are many pockets, by the calves, regular side pockets, and back pockets.
