sandbox Sarah Paiji Yoo (1984) is the co-founder - with John Mascari - and CEO of Blueland, a cleaning supply company that sells reusable "forever" acrylic cleaning bottles and nontoxic dissolving cleaning tablets.
A serial entrepreneur, she studied at Harvard Business School and launched her first company, Snapette, in 2011. She also helped funding direct-to-consumer brands M.Gemi and Rockets of Awesome.
Sarah's parents, Myung Paiji and Sam Paiji of Cerritos, California, immigrated from Thailand to the United States in 1975. Though at the time they did not speak English or have any money, they took the SATs, were accepted to college, and built lasting careers as aerospace engineers. The father is an aerospace engineer for design of new commercial aircraft in the Long Beach, California, offices of Boeing. Her mother retired from Boeing as an aerospace engineer for refurbishing and modifying existing commercial aircraft.
She married Kenneth Yoo in 2015. Eugene Lee, an uncle of the bride who is a minister of the World Evangelical Mission Alliance, officiated at Oheka Castle, the Otto Kahn estate in Huntington, N.Y.[1]
