Shiro has been in Stüttgart following the events of APT. He is awaiting his indictment into the Brotherhood of the Rounded Eye while working for a major software developer. He is the star character of the story along with Ariel, and the major focus is on his awakening as a buddhist/pantheist, as well as a breakdown of what exactly love is to him.

Ariel

The other star of the story, she is living in Madrid with Walter and her son, Dillan.
