Battle Tacticians
Battle Tacticians is a turn based role playing game where you will play as the main protagonist, a warrior who has been imprisoned by the evil forces that have taken over his village. Escape the prison and fight to save your village.
Mechanics
Movement - WASD to walk
Battle system - use the actions(buttons) to decide what move you will carry out during your turn such as attack, magic and heal.
There are triggers placed on interactable objects such as certain walls, pumpkins, non playable characters, chests and doors. For the first level you will be escaping a prison while you escape with the other prisoner. Fight through enemies and get past the puzzles to complete the level and proceed to the next where you will be saving the village. You can get better equipment from chests or enemies which has a small chance of dropping equipment. These equipment will either increase your normal attack damage, magic damage or increase your max health.
The camera follows the player around and is bound by a RigidBody placed onto it and invisible walls placed in the level to keep the camera from seeing parts of the game that is not included in the level. When you open a new path when destroying walls that you are unable to see, the camera will move to the location of the door/wall for a short while to show that you are able to explore new parts of the level.
