Multiculturalism

Multicultural education is a set of instructions and strategies that are designed for numerous different races. It is all based upon consensus building and fostering a cultural diversity within issues that are created by rapidly changing demographics of the students. It provides the idea that students from different backgrounds should have an equal opportunity to education. Multicultural education incorporates a positive racial eccentricities into a classroom setting and provides the students with the knowledge about histories, cultures and contributions of diverse groups. The foremost shortcoming to multiculturalism is that it is largely ineffective in dealing with the major sources of social inequality, making the multicultural education system difficult to those teachers who may encounter difficulty teaching the students from different races, and especially if they only mainly speak in their native language. Consequently, both the teachers and the students need to prepare themselves for the challenge of communicating and interacting with others from the diverse races.
