My name is Earl. I'm currently a math student at New Mexico Tech. I don't know enough of my field to have a favorite branch of it, though at the moment I'm partial to Linear Algebra. Similarly, I don't know enough math to contribute to articles on the subject, though that may change with time.
My interests are scattered far wider than my expertise can contain, so my contributions are very few so far. Literature is one area where my passion is paired with some erudition, however. My first contribution to Wikipedia was the creation of the article on Vladimir Nabokov's novel King, Queen, Knave. So far I've made no other major edits. I correct spelling and grammar from time to time, though sometimes I forget to log in when I do.
My philosophy regarding Wikipedia is moderately exclusionist. I don't like articles on things like Lightsaber Combat, though I wouldn't mind them in another Wiki project. However, I do like articles on specific things in the real world, like Hydrogen and Layla.
Exploding Whale is the best, most important article ever written.
